Wisconsin Chapter
Photographic Society of America



The Wisconsin Chapter of the Photographic Society of America was begun by The Chapter Organizing Committee in 1991 to promote education and enjoyment in the field of photography, for all levels of photographers across the entire State of Wisconsin. Chapter Organizing Committee consisted of Jack Worthen, FPSA (Chairman), Ellen Worzala, APSA(Secretary),
, FPSA, EPSA(Treasurer) and members, Doris Cobb, Del Desens, APSA, Taylor Mackey, Jerome Robillard & Charles Worzala.

The organizational meeting was held on May 17, 1992 in the Clausing Barn on the grounds of Old World Wisconsin Ethnic Museum in Eagle, Wisconsin. At that time, the Articles of Association were read, discussed and approved. Officers were elected: Jack Worthen, FPSA (Chairman), TaylorMackey (Vice-Chairperson), Ellen Worzala, APSA (Secretary) & Doris Cobb (Treasurer).

First Chapter meetings included a PSA Chapters Showcase along with several photo slide programs given by members and invited guests.

Meetings continue to be held 4 times every year in January, March, May and October. They are held at various places around the State of Wisconsin. Outings in lieu of meetings take place for an entire weekend where members meet at a designated area in Wisconsin or a neighboring State to take photos and discuss photographic areas of interest.
