| The October meeting will be held at the Sawmill Inn (Richfield, WI - Holy Hill area) on Sunday, the 15th.
Meeting begins with registration at 9:00 AM. Lunch will be served at noon. Business meeting and member dissolve shows will be in the morning followed by the Lynne Rieger presentation of the Rick Sammon DVD. Nancy Klemp will present her slide show in the afternoon.
Members will be shown two dissolve shows with images they have taken at the March, 2006 meeting held at the Milwaukee Art Museum and the May, 2006 meeting held at Baraboo Hills, WI.
Each member is asked to bring their favorite slides or digital images for presentation.
Members are also asked to bring prints (4" x 6") and a short biography for Don Frisque who will be including them in the "Wisconsin Chapter Notebook".
Members wishing to have their images displayed on the WI PSA Website are also encouraged to bring digital images and a short biography noting their general photographic interests to the meeting. Images should be in SRGB mode and no larger than 1024 pixels x 768 pixels. If you have any questions, please contact Renee Skiba.
Lynne Rieger will present the Rick Sammon DVD and a discussion of content will follow.
Rick is the host of two series on the "Do It Yourself" cable/satelite network.
He has appeard on every major morning show across the country.
Rick has also hosted 10 episodes of the Canon "Photo Safari". Show locations include Galapagos, Belize, Botswanta and Thailand. In these programs Rick teaches television and movie stars how to take better pictures. Rick also teaches photo workshops. He has taught for some of the most prestigious photo workshops in the country --- Maine Photographic Workshop & Palm Beach Photo Workshop. He also teaches 35mm & digital photography workshops for "Popular Photography &"Imaging" magazine. Please join us for an interesting and informative presentation.
Sunday afternoon will feature Nancy Klemp's photo travels from China. Nancy has promised us a wonderful program that you will surely not want to miss.
Sunday afternoon members will also be shown a brief slide show presenting the images from our first "Digital Challenge" that was begun this past March. Thus far 7 members have participated & hopefully more will be willing to partake in the future. A new image will be presented at the end of the slide show and instructions on how to participate will be given. We hope you will be excited about joining us for this new venture.
