DON FRISQUE, Mosinee, Wisconsin, with over 45 years of photography experience, performed hobby and semi- professional nature, freelance and stock photography, using Canon digital and film equipment.
He searches for everyday as well as unusual subjects and perspectives, trying to capture the marvelous intricacy, variety and beauty revealed through combinations of color, form, shape, texture, line and composition, to hopefully record unique, beautiful and special images in time.
Don's images have been published in Popular Photography, Petersen's Photographic, Wisconsin Trails, Birds and Blooms, Milwaukee Homes magazines, in the Wisconsin Family Weekends book and several local newspapers, telephone books and other publications, as well as on two calendars, many postcards, and a corporate annual report cover. He also has images displayed in two hospitals, a bank, dental clinic and many private homes. His work has been exhibited in many galleries and shows in Wisconsin.
Over the years he has attended many seminars and workshops by professional photographers, to develop and hone his photographic vision, and travelled to many North American parks and special locations to obtain a variety of images. He was an active member of the Photographic Society of America.
