Hello, my name is Ellen Podolske and I started at age eleven with a basic point and shoot that took 126 film. Then I worked with various 35 mm cameras of which I knew nothing about, but I couldn’t stop taking photos of people, places, pets, nature, objects, etc. I got my first DSLR in 2014, a Nikon D3300, took classes and got down to the business of learning how to use the equipment and I’ve been developing my creativity ever since. A serious amateur, I love documenting my days and enjoy all sorts of photography from landscapes, architecture, animals, pets, wildlife, portraits to still life. I’ve entered some photo contests and some of my work has received recognition. I have been a member of the PSA and the Wisconsin Chapter since 2022.
